C4D Campaign
Circle 4 Dignity is a national public education and awareness campaign supporting the decriminalization of the sodomy judgement as per the Friedel Dausab v Minister of Justice appeal in 2024.
Why is this important? Because criminalization fuels stigma, fear, and discrimination. The constitutional protection of dignity, equality & privacy belongs to all Namibians.

What are we going to do?
-Increase public understanding of the Sodomy Judgement
-Provide education in simple language
-Share community stories to make the judgement more relatable
-Reduce fear, misinformation and stigma
-Encourage empathy & constitutional awareness
Key messages
General public: Being different is not a crime.
LGBTQI Youth: Own your voice, own your pride. Let’s shape the future.
LGBTQI Adult: Live proud, speak up, we are protected.
Law makers & Leaders: Leadership is not about personal preference, but public protection.
Traditional leaders: Ubuntu is acceptance, not exclusion.
Health workers & Law enforcement: Your oath is to all Namibians. Dignity, equality, privacy and safety must be for everyone.
